BusyFork is a blog that chronicles the food and life experiences of a culinary novice. The commentary is witty, the recipes are simple and the photography is beautiful. BusyFork wanted a theme that could set it apart from other food blogs. We agreed the site should be clean and minimalistic in order for the content to take center stage.
Parrotfish installed Wordpress because it's easy to use and an excellent blogging platform. To keep things current and looking good, we used HTML5 Boilerplate as our starting point. This helps the site load quickly and display properly in all current browsers. Search engine traffic is important, so we set BusyFork up with a SEO plugin. Initial data shows users are more engaged with the new design and search engines are delivering a nice amount of traffic.
